Action on Sugar Researcher and Nutritionist Kawther Hashem says, "These shocking findings reinforce the urgent need for food manufacturers to reduce the amount of added sugar in popular products and join Public Health England’s sugar reduction programme to help tackle childhood obesity type 2 diabetes and tooth decay. We know this is one of the most effective ways of reducing sugar and, if done properly, the UK will lead the world."
