AG Barr to halve sugar content in Irn Bru

Registered Nutritionist Kawther Hashem, Action on Sugar at Queen Mary University of London says, “Incremental sugar reduction in all sugar-sweetened drinks is a key way to reduce sugar and calorie intake – having the option of ‘diet’ or ‘no sugar’ products does not work for everyone. We are delighted that AG Barr has committed to reduce sugar in their products; now all other manufacturers must follow suit.”
